I agree with the Jamberoo Football Club that by playing in the 2024 Jamberoo Sevens Cup (the Competition) I agree that I will:
- Provide correct information about my age.
- Abide by the rules of the Competition as set by the Jamberoo Football Club (which are subject to change from time-to-time).
- Comply with all reasonable directions set by the Jamberoo Football Club for the conduct of the Competition.
- Release and hold harmless the Jamberoo Football Club and its officers, agents and volunteers from any claim which I or my estate might have in connection with my death or injury sustained in connection with my participation in the Competition, regardless of whether or not I am at that time playing in a match.
- Be bound by the decisions of the match referee and disciplinary tribunal.
- Play in the spirit of the game.
I acknowledge that I am participating in the Competition at my own risk. Football is a contact sport and has high cardiovascular demands. Participation in football matches, including warming up before a match, often results in injuries. For the purposes of section 5F of the Civil Liability Act 2002, I acknowledge that there is an "obvious risk" that I might sustain an injury whilst participating in the Competition.
I hereby release and will hold harmless the Jamberoo Football Club and its officers, agents and volunteers for any injury which I sustain in connection with the Competition, regardless of how that injury is sustained and regardless of whether or not I am playing in a match at the time of the injury. I have made my own enquiries about obtaining appropriate insurance for my death, injury or disability that may arise in connection with my participation in the Competition.
