Jamberoo Sevens is coming!

7-8 February  2025

The Jamberoo 7’s is a 7-a-side soccer competition, hosted by Jamberoo FC, a not-for-profit incorporated organisation, as an annual fund-raising event.

We have purposely selected the first weekend of February for our tournament as it signals both the end of school holidays and the start of preseason training.

Our tournament is therefore, the idea opportunity to come together on a weekend away in the beautiful Jamberoo Valley, situated just 90 minutes south of Sydney. And who knows, you might find yourselves lifting a preseason trophy! We wish you well.

With places for 112 teams across 7 tournaments up to 1,680 players will take part in a total of 189 games over the two days of our event. This is an amateur football event quite unlike any other.

We will kickoff at around 8:15pm on Friday night and play until around 10pm. Resuming at 8am, we hope to complete all of our finals by 6pm on Saturday.

Following your feedback, we allow you to register a squad of up to 15 players. However only 10 can be used per game, 7 on field and 3 subs.

Competitions & age Groups

Subject to patronage we aim to hold seven concurrent competitions across the two days on both Kevin Walsh and Keith Irvine Ovals.

Each competition will be a maximum of 16 teams, comprising four groups of four teams. Each competition will consist of 27 games spanning the group stage, semi final and the final.

Entering

All players must be over 18 years of age and registered on the PlayFootball website. As our event is officially sanctioned by Football NSW, any unregistered players must pay an additional $15 Football NSW Insurance fee. For detailed instructions read here.

As part of our due diligence we will be checking registrations. So please ensure everyone in your team is registered before our cut-off date of 20th January 2025.

Event Facilities

Jamberoo Village offers a host of permanent facilities all within a very short walking distance from the playing fields. This includes an IGA, a cafe, a bakery, the Bowlo, and of course the famous Jamberoo Pub still owned and operated by Johnny Warren's family.

Our local Red Cross ladies will operate a breakfast bar on the Saturday morning. So there are plenty of places to find something to eat and get that much needed heart starter.

And then there's our pool, a great place to cool down and it's free! so bring an extra towel.
